With a voice more than golden, his career anyway is more than plentiful paved with noble metal. For more than ten years the golden throat of Helmut Lotti infatuates an international audience which is fascinated and delighted again by every new musical adventure of the Belgian superstar.
The star of Helmut Lotti rose in 1995 with his legendary classic-series. The series of "Helmut Lotti Goes Classic" albums proved to increase his popularity. Since 2000 he has also made successful recordings in traditional Latino, African and Russian-style music.
In the sequel he used his enormous vocal possibilities as an artistic world traveler who conferred an honor with great albums like Out Of Africa (1999), Latino Classics (2000), Latino Love Songs (2001), My Tribute To The King (2002), Pop Classics In Symphony (2003) and finally From Russia With Love“ (2004)
With his 'Out of Africa' album, African and African themed songs are arranged for symphony orchestra, choir, and soloist. It was recorded with the Golden Symphonic Orchestra at the Bosotho Cultural Village in the Maluti Mountains in South Africa.
With The Crooners Helmut Lotti devotes himself with heart and soul to the artistic genre which he controls so masterly like almost no other contemporary performer: the romantic singing. Helmut Lotti at his best: the born crooner. Helmut Lotti isn‘t only a brilliant singer but also outstands as a sensitive composer and songwriter. With the title My Way Helmut Lotti has written twelve romantic crooner songs which as well could come from the heyday of the crooners. ~That’s the CD I like most ^^ ~

Some other days someone introduces the “From Russia with Love” album to me. All those are famous Russian melodies, but more than that, that gentleman sings so perfectly! From then, I try to search his everything in the net. To my surprise, besides Russian, he sings great in many languages as well. I admire those who can speak foreign languages, coz’ I’m rather weak in this field. If I’m not fond of English songs, especially the oldies, probably my English standard will be even poor. Hong Kong teen-ages nowadays won’t listen to English songs. What a pity!
At first, he just writes the English lyrics for some Classical Music. I realize that those words are quite meaningful and touching! Later on, the talented singer writes songs by himself and do the arrangements more often, and presented them with his beautiful voice! Among them, “The Crooners - My Way” is the CD I like most, and surely will be my all time favour.
Music can soothe one’s soul and cure the depressing heart, especially from him.
As my DVDs are still in transit, these pics are from the internet.
